CARL Tamayo's first year in Korea proved to be a memorable one as he earned his place in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) Mythical Team.
The Gilas Pilipinas forward was one of two Changwon LG Sakers to make it to the vaunted list after steering his side to the no. 2 seed entering the playoffs.

Tamayo averaged 15.1 points on 31-percent shooting from deep, to go with 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists this past season as he emerged as one of the leaders for Changwon's 34-20 season.
Joining him in the Mythical Team were teammate Assem Marei, as well as Jameel Warney, Kim Sun-hyung, and An Young-jun of top seed Seoul SK Knights.

JD Cagulangan, meanwhile, was named as the Rookie of the Year despite coming in the second half of the KBL season for Suwon KT Sonicboom.
The reigning UAAP Finals MVP guard ranked 11th in the assists department with his 4.3 assists a game and eighth in steals with 1.5 swipes to go with his 7.3 points and 2.4 rebounds.
Suwon finished fourth in the standings with its 33-21 record.
