THE Camsur Express swept their weekend games in the National Basketball League Season 2 at the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum in Naga City.
The Express beat host team Iriga City Oragons, 79-64, in a battle between teams in Camarines Sur on Sunday after defeating Zambales Converge Fiber X Men, 86-75.
With the twin victories, the Express improved their win-loss record to 7-3 to gain a share of third place with the Parañaque Aces.
Jonathan Del Rosario scored 19 points, shooting 5 for 7 from threes, to frustrate the Oragons in their second home game in the league.
Ronn Romana had 19 points, while Jamil Bulawan had 18 points and nine rebounds as the Express came back from an 11-point deficit to beat the Fiber X Men.
Meanwhile, Lyndon Del Rosario had 19 points and 10 rebounds including a game-winning three-point play with two seconds left to lift the Fiber X Men to a 98-97 victory over the Laguna Pistons last Sunday.
The Pistons defeated the Oragons, 108-102, last Saturday with Sean Sandoval finishing with 29 points and hitting four three-pointers in the match.
