The James family's spokesman provided updates on the 18-year-old cager's current health status after the incident.
“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information," their family representative said.
"LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes," he added.
The sporting community expressed their thoughts and prayers to Bronny and the James clan on social media.
The versatile 6-foot-3 cager emerged as a top young prospect from Sierra Canyon School, averaging 14 markers and five boards in his senior year.

Bronny was then named into the 2023 McDonald's All-American Team, an elite selection of the U.S.A.'s best high school prospects, before signing with the USC Trojans to kickstart his collegiate career.
In the Class of 2023, Bronny ranked 27th in the nation and is expected to make waves early on under the tutelage of his four-time NBA champion father.
However, his budding basketball career now lies at a standstill as his health status will particularly be of utmost priority moving forward.
