KOBE Paras' playing days are already over.
That is if his father Benjie Paras is to be believed.
The elder Paras said that the 28-year-old forward has already hung up his sneakers for good.
"Pahinga na. Ayaw na niyang mag-basketball," the elder Paras said of his son in an interview in Dolly Anne Carvajal's Dollywood PH.
"Nasubukan naman niya at sa akin, ok naman yun."

Paras' absence has been one of the most talked about in basketball circles, with fans hoping to see him lace those kicks once more.
Though he has kept himself in shape and continues to train with True Focus, he has not committed to any team for three years now.

Paras last played in Japan where he suited up for B.League Division 2 team Altiri Chiba back in 2023.
Since then, he has been seen in entertainment circles stemming from his last relationship with actress Kyline Alcantara.
Benjie shared that for now, Kobe is focusing on his business ventures, stating, "Sabi niya gusto niyang mag-business and he's always in Siargao. Sa akin naman, he's at peace pag nandoon siya."
The younger Paras owns Bando MNL, a hip-hip club and restobar in Makati City.
Though Benjie admits that there's a tinge of regret for him not seeing Kobe follow in his footsteps particularly in the PBA, he really has no problem with it.
“Sayang, but I don’t force my kids to do what I want. I support them in what they want to do and I continue to give them advice," he said.
