CAMEROON’s Ben Mbala has joined the chorus of criticism against the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) rule limiting Fil-foreigners’ participation.

The former La Salle import reacted on Twitter as Bobby Ray Parks slammed the MPBL rule allowing each team only one Fil-foreign player with a height limit of 6 feet 4 inches.

“Y’all need to get your s**t together. Half or full blood is still ‘Filipino,” wrote Mbala.

The two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player plays in a pro league in France.

Parks and Alab Pilipinas teammate Lawrence Domingo were acquired by new MPBL team Mandaluyong El Tigres for the conference opening on June 12.

Shortly after the El Tigres’ announcement, MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes said the team will have to choose between the two players due to the Fil-foreign player rule.
