The Athletics secured the No. 2 spot in the Southern Division with a 92-86 win over the General Santos City Warriors at the Batangas City Coliseum.
Jeff Viernes came away with 21 points and six assists while Jhaymo Eguilos had 18 points on top of six rebounds for Batangas.
Villamor added 16 markers, making 3 of 4 shots from beyond the arc.
Batangas ended up tied with the Muntinlupa Cagers at 15-10 but the Athletics earned the No. 2 spot by virtue of the win over the other rule.
Imus capped the elimination round with a 107-90 triumph over also-ran Mandaluyong.
The Bandera wound up tied with the Cebu Sharks at 11-14, but earned the No. 7 spot also by the winner over the other rule.
Cebu will face top seed Davao Occidental.
Bacoor took the fifth spot in the Southern Division at 13-2 after winning via forfeiture over Parañaque.
General Santos City dropped to fourth place at 14-11 and will play the Bacoor Strikers (13-12) in the playoffs.
