THE Philippine 3-on-3 team fell to mighty China, 20-0, in the Fiba U-18 World Championship in Jakarta Friday.

The team of Thirdy Ravena, Kobe Paras, Arvin Tolentino, and Paolo Rivero fouled out one after the other during the highly-physical encounter, leading to the Filipinos' first loss of the tournament.

The team failed to recover from the loss as they likewise bowed, 12-11, to MOngolia to drop to a 3-2 (win-loss) record after going undefeated in Day One of the competition.

The Filipinos will next face Czech Republic followed by a match-up with undefeated United States in the final day of the preliminaries.

Ravena and Co. need at least a win in their final two games to enhance their chance of making it to the knockout stage.

The PH 3x3 team earlier defeated Chinese Taipei, Guatemala, and Andorra.
