ATENEO standout LeBron Lopez is the latest player to head to the United States.
East West Private released a teaser on Saturday, saying that the 16-year-old Blue Eaglets forward has signed with the firm.
Once formalized, the 6-foot-5 Lopez will join NBA G League-bound Kai Sotto, Far Eastern University's Cholo Anonuevo, and Fil-Am Sage Tolentino among EWP's trainees as they seek to better their games in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He averaged 16.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks in his first year in Ateneo last UAAP Season 82. That stellar performance earned him a place in the Mythical Team as the Blue Eaglets finished at fourth place.
The Fil-Angolan high-flyer previously played for La Salle Greenhills before transferring to Katipunan.
