STRONG Group Athletics (SGA) has finalized its roster for the upcoming 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship from January 24 to February 2 with the addition of former Ateneo standout Chris Koon.
Koon, a 6-foot-5 guard, played his final collegiate season during UAAP Season 87, where he averaged 7.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
Now, his inclusion in SGA marks the beginning of his pro career.
"He has good size as a wing, can shoot, can defend. I think he will be a good role player for us. And we all know he’s been well-coached and comes from a great school and program, so it’s good to have him," said head coach Charles Tiu.

SGA, one of two Filipino teams competing in the Dubai tourney, is now complete with a blend of local and international talents.
