ANTON Asistio had 15 points and five rebounds as the Blue Eagles defeated Lyceum, 58-47, in the Milcu Sports Basketball Summer Showcase 25-under division at the Lyceum gym.
Matthew Aquino had eight points, 13 rebounds and two blocks as the Bulldogs beat Far Eastern University, 74-64.
Arellano beat Technological University of the Philippines, 53-41, while Jose Rizal University won over Batang Gilas, 67-54.
Meanwhile, University of Santo Tomas upended Ateneo, 72-52, while La Salle Greenhills overcame Hope Christian High School, 62-56, in the 19-under division.
UST also beat Chiang Kai Shek College, 75-50, as Skyhawk South Ballers beat PHS, 61-51, in the 16-under category of the tournament sanctioned by Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, organized by Got Skills and Gamboa Sports, and backed by Gatorade, LGR, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Basketball TV, Gerry’s Grill, Rain or Shine, Honda Cars Greenhills, FMR Bus Services, Coach Athletic Tape, Mighty Sports, Patricio’s Online Sneaker Store, and Secret Fresh.
