Ateneo bucked a slow start to steal the lead for San Beda mid first half.
In his fifth time to be named Player of the Game, Ballungay shared how efforts like this help the team get ready for the next UAAP season.
“This is a chance to get used to the physicality of playing in the Philippines before the big stage,” he told SPIN.ph after the game.
Former PBA player Jai Reyes is the commissioner of AsiaBasket.
