MACAU – After another successful staging of the Terrific 12, the East Asia League is looking to up the ante by next year.

Asia League CEO Matt Beyer bared plans of expanding the tournament with a home and away format, which he discussed with the top officials of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), Korean Basketball League (KBL), and the J-League of Japan during the course of the week.
While the plan received a positive response, one major thing cropped up during the discussion.

“We talked at length about what was the biggest issue, and it’s all about schedule,” said Beyer at the conclusion of the week-long tournament Sunday night which Lance Stephenson and the Liaoning Flying Leopards won.
