ARVIN Tolentino helped the Seoul SK Knights put away Ethan Alvano and Wonju DB Promy, 89-68, in the Korean Basketball League.
The Filipino import tallied 19 points, four rebounds, and one assist as the Knights moved just one game behind second-running Anyang KGC with a 29-17 (win-loss) record.
Changwon bounces back
Alvano wound up with 21 markers, eight boards, and four dimes for Wonju, which remained in fourth place at 27-19.
Changwon LG Sakers, meanwhile, returned to winning ways after holding off a fourth-quarter comeback of the Seoul Samsung Thunders, 97-88.
Carl Tamayo collected 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists, outperforming Justin Gutang who finished with 10 markers, and four boards for the Thunders.
The Sakers continue to hold the top spot with a 32-15 slate, while the Thunders absorbed their fifth straight loss and fell to the bottom at 13-33.
