DAEGU KoGas finally ended a seven-game slump with a thrilling 72–71 win over Korean Basketball League (KBL) leaders Changwon LG Sakers at the Daegu Gymnasium.
Former Gilas Pilipinas playmaker SJ Belangel led KoGas back to the win column with 10 points, five assists, and three rebounds in 19 minutes of action.

KoGas improved to a 12–27 record, while LG Sakers remained on top of the league standings with a 28–12 slate.
Arvin Tolentino set a new KBL career-high with 26 points to go with six rebounds, two dimes, and three steals in a 81-64 win by Seoul Knights over Kevin Quiambao and the Goyang Sono Skygunners.
Quiambao had a cold shooting night and finished just with nine markers, seven boards, and three assists, going 3-of-11 from the field.
In another exciting matchup, Justin Gutang missed a triple-double by just a point and a rebound after dishing out 10 assists in Seoul Thunders’ 104–101 overtime loss to a JD Cagulangan-less Suwon KT Sonicboomers.

Cagulangan, who suffered an ACL injury during their game against Wonju DB Promy last month, has been ruled out of the 2025–2026 season.
Looking ahead, the do-it-all Jake Figueroa will look to keep things going as Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus face Seoul Thunders at home on Thursday while Rhenz Abando and Anyang JungKwanJang will test Suwon KT on Friday.
