SIX teams see action in the Elite Division Conference of the Pinay Ballers League preseason tournament which opens on Sunday at the La Consolacion College gym in Manila.
Philippine Navy, Philippine Army, and Philippine National Police headline the cast of teams competing in the league now on its first year.
Also seeing action in the meet supported by Ever Bilena are Far Eastern University, University of the Philippines, and the Pacman Warriors, according to league founder and national women’s team member Ewon Arayi.
A member of the Philippine team to the coming Southeast Asian Games in Singapore, said the First Conference is actually a preseason tournament leading up to the season-opening Foundation Cup.
The Foundation Cup, made possible by Ever Bilena’s Denice Sy, is set to be held this August.
