The Gilas Pilipinas Women stalwart continues to blaze a trail, signing with Women's Japan Basketball League top division team Denso Iris.
The team announced the news on Wednesday.
It's the latest stop for Animam's international career, one that saw her had stops in Taiwan, Serbia, France, China, Australia, and her latest in Romania with FCC UAV Arad.

Animam is coming off a solid performance in the 2025 FIBA Women's Asia Cup where she led the Philippines with 10.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists, as the country remained in the top flight of continental competitions.
