ALYSSA Villamor has emerged as the Philippines’ No. 1 female 3x3 player following the recent staging of the WNBL 3x3 Leg Three in Bulacan.
Villamor has accumulated 2,672 points to take the top spot, surpassing Stacie Serene Salajog, who has 2,670 points.
The former Ateneo cager recently led Uratex Dream to championships in the first two legs of the WNBL 3x3, and a runner-up finish in the third leg earlier this month to earn the Fiba 3x3 points.
Three more Uratex Dream players took the next spots with Kaye Pingol in third with 2,644, followed by Tina Deacon with 2,634, and Angel Anies with 2,628.
Tina Deacon and four other Uratex Dream teammates are in the 3x3 top five.
The women’s Under-23 rankings also saw Jenina Solis of Angelis Resort in front with 1,474, followed by teammates Blanche Bahuyan with 1,440 and Bea Pecito with 737.
The Philippines also continued its rise in the women’s rankings is currently at No. 47 from No. 49 following the WNBL 3x3 third leg.
