HOT-SHOOTING Valencia City Bukidnon-SSCR got off to a strong start and scored a 96-64 demolition of Wangs Basketball on Tuesday in the 2019 PBA D-League at JCSGO Gym in Cubao.

A blazing 18-0 start set the tone for the Golden Harvest as Allyn Bulanadi and RK Ilagan had little to no difficulties in getting their way as they stretched the lead to 33 points, 60-27 at halftime.

Bulanadi came off the bench and lit up for 28 points, seven rebounds and two steals, while Ilagan torched the opposition with nine of his 13 points coming in that first half.

Ken Villapando added 15 points and five rebounds, as JM Calma tallied a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, while also making two blocks.

"Ang importante ngayon, the boys executed our game plan and ang ganda ng depensa namin," said coach Egay Macaraya as Valencia-SSCR kept Wangs in check and forced the opposition to just 35-percent shooting from the field.
