    Aaron Fermin makes solid collegiate debut as Adamson routs EAC

    AARON Fermin had a strong debut in the collegiate level with Adamson, leading the Falcons to an 89-65 victory over Emilio Aguinaldo College on Tuesday in the 2019 Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup in Cubao.

    The former Arellano High School slotman uncorked 21 points and five rebounds, main gunner Jerrick Ahanmisi added 17 points, making 3 of 5 attempts from deep, while forward AP Manlapaz had 12.

    Senior bruiser Papi Sarr contributed 11 points and seven rebounds for the Falcons.

    Adamson limited EAC to just eight points in the second period to take a 43-27 halftime lead before a 28-point third quarter explosion that made it a 30-point lead, 71-41.

    Marwin Taywan was the lone EAC player to get to double-digits in scoring with 10 points.
