JERIC Fortuna is set to become one of the youngest players in Asean Basketball League when he makes his debut for San Miguel in the Beermen's game against Indonesia in the Warriors’ turf later in the day.
The 21-year-old University of Santo Tomas product, who officially signed with the Beermen on March 6, is expected give the team a huge boost in the backcourt by playing behind starting point guard Chris Banchero.
After his five-year stint with the UST Tigers, Fortuna showcased his wares in the PBA D-League for Blackwater Sports.
The Beermen, seeking a third straight victory in their 8 p.m. clash with the Warriors, also welcome back reinforcements Brian Williams (injury) and Gabe Freeman (suspension).
