TYLER Lamb had 28 points, while Christian Standhardinger had 26 points and 11 rebounds, and Hong Kong Eastern beat the Westports Malaysia Dragons, 104-92, on Thursday in the Asean Basketball League.
Lamb and Standhardinger also got support from Marcus Elliott, who had 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 assists, as Hong Kong Eastern got back to its winning ways after suffering another loss against Saigon.
Hong Kong stayed in first place with a 10-2 card, and held a half-game lead over Chong Son Kung Fu, which also won on Thursday by beating the CLS Knights, 100-75, in Nanhai.
Fil-American Mikhael McKinney finished with 23 points for Chong Son, which is in second with a 9-2 record.
In the standings, Chong Son still leads San Miguel Alab Pilipinas, which is in third with a 9-4 slate after beating Mono Vampire Basketball Club on Wednesday.
CLS Knights played without Keith Jensen, who was unable to make the trip as he was unable to obtain a Chinese visa in time for the match.
