TANDUAY Alab Pilipinas looks to get back on the winning track on Sunday night in the Asean Basketball League against Mono Vampire Basketball Club in Thailand.
Game time is at 7 p.m. at the Stadium 29 in Bangkok (8 p.m., Manila time).
Alab saw its three-game winning run snapped by the Singapore Slingers at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Wednesday but Alab Pilipinas coach Jimmy Alapag said the team is optimistic it can regain form on short break.
“We will regroup. It’s a heavy month of games for us. The great thing is we play again on Sunday. The last thing I want is for us to lose a game and have a two-week lay-off like we did to start the season.
”We are a good team, we will get better, and be ready for Mono,” said Alapag, whose team will be playing its fourth game in two weeks.
Alab is 2-1 with Renaldo Balkman and Justin and hold an season record of 3-4.
Mono Vampire is on a high after claiming its sixth win in nine outings with a 115-111 win over the Westports Malaysia Dragons on Friday.
