TANDUAY Alab Pilipinas looks to gain momentum from its splendid win last week as they take on the CLS Knights on Saturday in the Asean Basketball League at the GOR CLS Kertajaya in Surabaya, Indonesia.
The match is scheduled at 7 p.m. local time (6 p.m. Philippine time).
Alab is currently holding a 4-4 win-loss record, and is coming off a big win last weekend when the Philippine squad beat Mono Vampire, 114-87. It tied the biggest winning margin this season.
Facing one of the top teams in the league in terms of team standings, Justin Brownlee connected on 29 points, and got support from Bobby Ray Parks and Josh Urbiztondo, who had 19 and 17 markers, respectively, for Alab Pilipinas.
The Knights are eyeing for a big win as they have lost six straight games after winning their first outing of the season. CLS, one of the new teams in the league this season, bowed to Singapore, 92-81, last week.
Filipino imports Biboy Enguio and Rudy Lingganay are part of the CLS roster, along with ABL veteran Mario Wuysang.
