REGGIE Okosa has been relieved as import of Tanduay Alab Pilipinas after four games in the 2017-2018 Asean Basketball League season.
Okosa wrote on his Facebook account, “Thank you for the opportunity. Okosa out? #freeagent, on Tuesday. Alab team owner Charlie Dy also confirmed Okosa will be replaced as import.
Dy said the team is still deciding on the replacement import.
In his last game as Alab Pilipinas cager, Okosa played as the lone import as Ivan Johnson sat out due to back spasms.
He finished with 19 points, 19 rebounds, and two blocks in Alab’s 78-61 win over Formosa Dreamers.
Okosa averaged 25.67 points and 11.67 rebounds for Alab Pilipinas.
