RAYMAR Jose scored 22 points as the Kaohsiung Truth beat Dragons, 94-86, spoiling the debut of Filipino-American cager Joshua Munzon with the Westports Malaysia squad on Sunday in the Asean Basketball League at the Kaohsiung Municipal Senior High School gym.
Jose played a huge role in a third-quarter run when the Truth outscored the Dragons, 21-11, en route to their second win in three straight home games this week.
Kaohsiung improved its record to 4-7 to solidify its hold of fourth place while Malaysia slipped to 2-7 for fifth place in the team standings.
Munzon scored 29 points in his first game with the Dragons after being released by the Saigon Heat.
Down, 43-51, Kaohsiung came storming back for a 64-62 lead and maintained the advantage throughout.
