RAYMAR Jose intends to play aggressive like he did in college, although he needs to adapt to the officiating in the Asean Basketball League.

Jose scored 12 points and had seven rebounds his debut with Kaohsiung in the ABL, a loss to Alab Pilipinas, but the fie play was cut short as he fouled out midway through the fourth quarter.

Jose vowed to give the Truth the same effort he made as FEU's do-it-all skipper in the UAAP.

“Kung ano ‘yung tinrabaho ko sa college, ‘yun pa rin ang ibibigay ko,” said Jose.

“Nagulat ako kasi aggressive ako sobra, parang sa UAAP, kaya lang mabilis ako gumraduate. Kailangan ko matutunan ’yun,” said Jose.

Jose, whose one-day deal became a season-long contract after the solid debut, said he is also ready to embrace the life in a home and away league.

“Maganda ’yung lugar nila. Nag-aadjust pa rin ako. Kailangan eh kasi basketball is life,” said Jose.

“Masaya ako kasi nakakalaban ko mga import. Ma-iimprove ko talaga ‘yung sarili ko.”

He has a few weeks to work on his game.

The Truth will face Saigon Heat on Jan. 7 at the Kaohsiung Municipal Senior High School before hosting Alab Pilipinas the following day.
