THE Pilipinas MX3 Kings snapped their 11-game losing skid with an 88-68 win over the Saigon Heat on Monday in a road game in Hanoi of the Asean Basketball League.
AZ Reid had 29 points and 15 rebounds, while Nico Elorde added 20 points for the Kings, who also got 12 points, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals from Willie Miller.
The Kings improved to 2-11 to climb to fifth spot in the six-team league.
The Philippine-based team won its opening game of the season against the Mono Vampire Basketball Club, 78-79, in Davao City then went on a skid.
The Kings are three games behind fourth-placed Saigon.
