Paolo Javelona joins former NU Bulldogs teammate Ray Parks in Alab Pilipinas squad

Paolo Javelona had a stint as assistant coach to Eric Altamirano before the PBA draft but he never got to shine in the PBA.

PAOLO Javelona became the latest player to be added to the Alab Pilipinas roster in the Asean Basketball League.

The team posted the news on its social media account on Sunday.

The former National University guard joined reigning ABL Most Valuable Player and former NU teammate Bobby Ray Parks, American import Ivan Johnson, Lawrence Domingo, Robby Celiz, Josh Urbiztondo and Oping Sumalinog.

Known as defensive specialist during his college days with the Bulldogs, Javelona, a member of NU's championship team in 2014, was drafted 16th overall in the 2016 PBA rookie draft by Phoenix.
