KIEFER Ravena has yet to be cleared for basketball-related activities and his Asean Basketball league debut remains uncertain.
Added to the Alab player pool last week, Ravena said he has already scheduled another appointment with his doctor to check his right hand, which he injured on a bad fall during the Dubai Invitational Basketball Tournament while playing for Mighty Sports.
“Wala pa. Magpapa-check pa ako ulit bago pumunta sa States. Sana gumaling na,” said Ravena.
Ravena is scheduled to leave for the United States next weekend, but is expected to return to the country soon to suit up for Alab Pilipinas.
Alab will play on the road against Hong Kong Eastern on Friday before returning home to play the Long Lions on Sunday in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The Philippine-based squad faces Hong Kong again on March 19 at the Almendras Gym in Davao City, before wrapping up the elimination round on the road against the Kaohsiung Truth on March 26.
