SAN Miguel Alab Pilipinas made a courtesy call on President Duterte in Malacanang on Monday after winning the Asean Basketball League (ABL) crown.

The Philippine squad captured the ABL title by beating Mono Vampire Basketball Club in the best-of-five title series.

Head coach Jimmy Alapag led the team along with assistant coach Mac Cuan, consultant Danny Seigle, players Bobby Ray Parks, Pao Javelona, JR Alabanza, Pamboy Raymundo, Rico Maierhofer, Dondon Hontiveros, Oping Sumalinog and team owner Charlie Dy.

Renaldo Balkman and Justin Brownlee, the two imports who reinforced Alab’s campaign to the ABL crown, reunited ahead of their PBA clash.

Balkman and Brownlee will face off in a few days as San Miguel takes on Barangay Ginebra on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena after the two imports returned to their former teams.
