Jerick Canada teamed up with fellow Adamson alumnus Patrick Cabahug in leading Hi-Tech Bangkok City to the Asean Basketball League (ABL) Finals.

PATRICK Cabahug and Jerick Canada steered Hi-Tech Bangkok City to a 76-73 win over the Singapore Slingers on Friday and a berth in the Asean Basketball League (ABL) Finals.

Cabahug scored a team-high 26 points, while Canada chipped in 14 for Bangkok in the Game Two win at the OCBC Arena in Bangkok for a sweep of the best-of-three semifinal series.

The heroics of the two former Adamson stalwarts helped clinch Bangkok a Finals seat right in its maiden season in the league.

Hi-Tech Bangkok City will face the winner of the other semifinal pairing between top-seed Malaysia Dragons, led by Fil-Tongan Moala Tautuaa, and the Saigon Heat bannered by Filipinos Froilan Baguion and Leo Avenido.

The Dragons currently lead the best-of-three series, 1-0, following a 108-90 win. They go for the sweep on Sunday in Ho Chi Minh City.

Tautuaa had 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists for the Dragons in Game One.
