Oping Sumalinog joins Alab Pilipinas in Asean Basketball League after D-League stint with Cignal

OPING Sumalinog is suiting up for Alab Pilipinas, joining Most Valuable Player Bobby Ray Parks and import Ivan Johnson as the Philippine-based club tries to improve on its third place finish last season.

The team made the announcement on Tuesday on its official social media accounts.

Sumalinog joins the ABL side after playing for Cignal in the PBA D-League for two conferences, helping the Hawkeyes win the Aspirants Cup and Foundation Cup.

Sumalinog is also a practice player of TNT.

Also in the Alab lineup are Robby Celiz and Lawrence Domingo.
