Marcus Marshall scores ABL record 60 points as Malaysia Dragons edge Mono Vampire in 2OT

IMPORT Marcus Marshall notched a league-record 60 points as Westports Malaysia Dragons defeated Mono Vampire in double overtime, 116-112, in the Asean Basketball League on Saturday at the Stadium 29 in Bangkok.

Marshall had an ABL debut to remember as he hit 29 of his 40 shots in the game.

Reil Cervantes had eight points, four rebounds, and two steals, while fellow Filipino import Patrick Cabahug added seven points and nine rebounds for the Dragons.

Paul Zamar had 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists, while Filipino-American Jason Brickman, a former member of the Westports Malaysia Dragons, contributed 12 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists for Mono Vampire in a home defeat.
