Fil-Am Joshua Munzon posts double-double as Malaysia Dragons beat Saigon Heat

THE Westports Malaysia Dragons picked up their second straight victory, beating the Saigon Heat, 91-87, on Wednesday in the Asean Basketball League at the MABA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

Marcus Marshall scored 25, AJ West added 19 points, while Fil-American Joshua Munzon had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Dragons, who improved their record to 3-4 in seventh place.

The Heat have yet to win against the Dragons at the MABA Stadium.

Saigon limited Fil-American Michael Williams to a single point although he dished out eight assists.

Akeem Scott had 44 points for the Heat, who saw their three-game winning run snapped. Saigon has a 4-3 record to occupy fourth place.
