Chong Son Kung Fu victory over Mono Vampire gives Alab provisional second spot in ABL

CHONG SON Kung Fu defeated Mono Vampire Basketball Club, 113-95, on Wednesday in the Asean Basketball League at the Nanhai Gymnasium in China.

Anthony Tucker had 35 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals for Chong Son, which improved its record to 10-5.

Mono Vampire’s loss propelled San Miguel Alab Pilipinas to second place with an 11-5 card in a tight race for the two automatic spots in the semifinals.

Hong Kong Eastern leads with a 12-2 card. Mono Vampire slipped to 12-6.

Justin Howard had 26 points and 13 rebounds for Chong Son, while Caelan Tiongson had 17 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

Michael Singletary had 37 points and seven rebounds, as Samuel Deguara added 22 points and 12 rebounds for Mono.
