MONO Vampire Basketball Club defeated Singapore Slingers, 85-82, on Sunday to complete a sweep of their Asean Basketball League quarterfinal series at the OCBC Arena in Singapore.
Jason Brickman hit two free throws to make it 84-82 with 51 seconds left.
Xavier Alexander missed a lay-up for Singapore and Michael Singletary made one of his two free throws to settle the final score.
Singletary had 29 points, while Paul Zamar had 16 points on 4 of 8 shooting from the 3-point line. Samuel Deguara had 15 points and 17 rebounds for Mono, which will face Chong Son Kung Fu in the best-of-three semifinals.
San Miguel Alab Pilipinas will take on Hong Kong Eastern in the other semifinal pairing.
