LAWRENCE Domingo will be out for at least a month for San Miguel Alab Pilipinas after suffering an MCL sprain.
Head coach Jimmy Alapag confirmed the news as the 6-foot-4 winger will miss four to six weeks of action, which rules him out for the remainder of the 2019 ASEAN Basketball League eliminations.
Domingo hurt his right knee in Alab's 101-96 win over Macau Black Bears last March 8 and has missed the defending champions' last game, a 79-71 loss to Formosa Dreamers last Sunday.
The news couldn't come at a worse time for the Philippine side, which still has starting power forward Caelan Tiongson (ankle) and reserve big man Brandon Rosser (knee) out due to injuries.
San Miguel Alab Pilipinas has already clinched its playoff berth with its 18-5 record and will face Macau for the fourth and last time on Friday.
