JOSEPH Eriobu is moving to the Asean Basketball League, but it's not with San Miguel Alab Pilipinas.
The Fil-Nigerian forward has inked a deal to join Hong Kong Eastern this season, with him playing as a local.

Eriobu, 27, was born in the former British colony and under league rules, is cleared to suit up as a local player for the 10th season of the regional league.
The 6-foot-4 bruiser out of Mapua, drafted in the second round in the 2016 PBA Draft, suited up for Mahindra and Phoenix in his first two seasons before he, together with Gelo Alolino, was traded to Blackwater for Nard Pinto prior to this season.

Eriobu only suited up for seven games for the Elite, averaging 4.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in his 9.3 minutes back in the 2019 Philippine Cup.
His contract with Blackwater expired in October.
