JASON Brickman had extra-motivation in Game Two of the Asean Basketball League (ABL) finals, coming up with a huge game to help Mono Vampire even the series with San Miguel Alab Pilipinas on Wednesday in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The Fil-Am guard said he enjoys playing in front of Filipino fans even if he is playing for a foreign club, and Wednesday was twice the fun as his mother Elizabeth and other family members flew in from the US to watch him play for the first time in a long while.

“My mom, my aunts and uncles are here. They flew out from the States to watch this game so, it’s awesome to play in front of them and they got to experience this crowd. I’m really happy and excited we got the win,” said Brickman, who finished with 15 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and two steals in the win.

“It’s just a great environment to play in, a lot of fun, it feels great to win in front of these fans and play in front of my family and friends here. Great to get a win and tie the series and try to get some wins back home,” Brickman added.
