HONG Kong Eastern continued its winning ways after beating the Singapore Slingers, 82-79, on Wednesday night at the Southorn Stadium in Hong Kong for its seventh straight win in the 2017-2018 Asean Basketball League.
Tyler Lamb had 25 points, while Fil-German Christian Standhardinger had 16 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and two blocks for Hong Kong Eastern, which tightened its grip on first place as the league goes on a break.
Xavier Alexander had 20 points and 12 assists, while Fil-Canadian AJ Mandani scored 16 points for the Slingers, who now have a 3-4 win-loss slate.
