HONG Kong Eastern got back to its winning ways after beating Formosa, 99-79, on Thursday night in the Asean Basketball League (ABL) at the Southorn Stadium in Hong Kong.
Fil-German sensation Christian Standhardinger had 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the way for Eastern, which improved its record to 8-1.
Hong Kong, which remained in first place in the team standings, suffered a 121-115 defeat against Saigon Heat last January 9.
Tyler Lamb had 25 points, seven rebounds, and four steals, while Marcus Elliott got 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists for Hong Kong in the runaway win.
Formosa remained at the bottom of the nine-team field with a 1-8 record.
