EVEN with his health deteriorating, Bobby Parks Sr. showed he was rooting for San Miguel when he tweeted, “Lets go beerman” on opening day of the Asean Basketball League season last January 11.

That turned out to be Parks’ last tweet before he passed away last Saturday due to cancer.

The Beermen are set to return the compliment as they pay tribute to their former coach by wearing the seven-time PBA best import's trademark No. 22 on their jerseys starting in the team's next game on Saturday against the Singapore Slingers at the Ynares Sports Arena.

San Miguel sports director Noli Eala wrote on his Twitter account that they will honor Parks by wearing the patch bearing Parks' hersey number throughout the season with the patch.
