KEITH Jensen made a rousing debut in the Asean Basketball League (ABL), helping the resurgent CLS Indonesia Knights pull off a convincing 82-72 win over hosts Westports Malaysia Dragons on Sunday at the MABA Stadium.

Jensen, the eighth pick overall in the 2012 PBA rookie draft, replaced countryman Rudy Lingganay as the Knights' Asean heritage import and paid immediate dividends for the them.

The Fil-Am forward quickly made his presence felt by firing in 18 points on an efficient 7-11 shooting in 25 minutes off the bench.

He made the most of his damage in the second period by pouring in 11 points to help the Knights retake control after the Dragons trimmed a 13-point first quarter deficit to just three behind Fil-Am Joshua Munzon.

Jensen made back-to-back three-pointers to give the Knights a 48-38 lead just before the half.

The 30-year-old Jensen last played for GlobalPort in the PBA's 2015-16 season, putting up decent averages of 7.0 points and 3.5 rebounds a game. But that didn't stop the Batang Pier from trading him to Star (now Magnolia).

He didn't play a single game with the Hotshots before deciding to return to the US last season.

Former Alaska import Shane Edwards paced Indonesia with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Indonesian hotshot Mario Wuysang had 19 as the team improved to 3-8 (win-loss).

Munzon once again came up big with 29 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals but found little help as the Dragons suffered their fourth straight defeat to slip to 3-8.
