EXPECT a sellout crowd for Game One of the Asean Basketball League (ABL) semifinals between Alab Pilipinas and the Singapore Slingers on Sunday at the OCBC Arena.
Sources from Singapore said tickets have been hard to score for Filipinos based in the island nation who are looking to give Alab all the support that it needs in the away game.
A check on ticket selling site Apactix.com where tickets to Slingers games are being sold also showed only seats in three sections located at the corners of the arena are available, with one section now selling fast.
One of the reasons for the spike in interest among fans is Kiefer Ravena, who will be making his debut for the Philippine side at the start of its playoff run.

The popular cager is no stranger to Singapore fans as Ravena had played in the OCBC Arena during the Southeast Asian Games, Seaba Championship, and the Merlion Cup.
Alab Pilipinas is looking to steal homecourt advantage from Singapore in Game One but the Slingers have other plans as it eyes a return trip to the finals this season.
