FORMER Terrafirma import Antonio Hester is taking his act to the Zamboanga Valientes in ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
Hester has been tapped by the Valientes to reinforce the team as it represents the country in the regional league set to relaunch in 2023 with the holding of the Invitational Tournament Series.
The 6-foot-6 Hester arrived in the country last Saturday and began practicing with the Valientes in time for the Jan. 2 kickoff of the ABL, which is making a comeback after a three-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hester suited up for the Dyip in the last PBA Governors Cup, where the team finished second to last with a 2-9 record.
The 32-year-old import is the latest player added by Valientes to its roster.
They recently signed Fil-Canadian James Kwekuteye of San Beda, former Red Lion Kemark Carino, and Jose Rizal University’s John Amores.
