Chong Son Kung Fu cruises past Westports Dragons to tighten grip on second spot

CHONG Son Kung Fu defeated the Westports Malaysia Dragons, 96-79, on Thursday at the Nanhai Gymnasium to stay in second place in the team standings of the Asean Basketball League.

Fil-American Mikhael McKinney had 32 points, four rebounds, and six assists, while Anthony Tucker had 21 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists for Chong Son, which picked up its fifth win in six outings.

Chong Son's other Fil-Am Caelan Tiongson had 18 points, eight rebounds, and four assists heading into the team's first match of the season against Tanduay Alab Pilipinas this coming week.

Joshua Munzon had 22 points for the Dragons, who is in seventh place with a 3-6 win-loss record.
