BOBBY Ray Parks Jr. gave a fan his game-worn shoes after getting an early birthday present from her on Friday night in Baliwag Star Arena during Alab Pilipinas’ match in Baliwag, Bulacan.
A fan named ‘Mary Rose’ gave Parks a portrait of the Alab Pilipinas star in their game against the Westports Malaysia Dragons, according to a post by the team’s official Twitter account.
Parks was glad to have received the portrait that he gave the fan a pair of shoes that he wore during the game immediately after Alab won, 87-79, as he returned to the dugout wearing only his socks on his feet.
In a video interview by the Alab Pilipinas Twitter account, Mary Rose said she asked someone to draw the portrait for him as a birthday gift with Parks celebrating his 24th birthday on Sunday.
“Diba birthday niya sa Sunday, nagpa-sketch po ako ng picture, binigay ko po sa kanya,” said Mary Rose, who wished Parks good luck in the next games of Alab Pilipinas.
