ANDREI Caracut is starting a new chapter in his basketball career with San Miguel Alab Pilipinas for the upcoming Asean Basketball League (ABL) season.
Team owner Charlie Dy confirmed the development with the Philippine-based club acquiring this season's La Salle team captain.
"Yes, he will play," the amiable executive said.

Caracut also announced his decision, saying: "It's an honor to play for your country with Alab Pilipinas."
The Lucban, Quezon native averaged 9.6 points, 4.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds in his final year for the green-and-white this UAAP Season 82.

Caracut is a former UAAP Rookie of the Year and was also a NCAA juniors Finals MVP in his senior year with the San Beda Red Cubs.
The 5-foot-11 Caracut joins coach Jimmy Alapag’s guard lineup featuring Jason Brickman, Jeremiah Gray and World Import Khalif Wyatt.
