ALAB Pilipinas faces Hong Kong Eastern once again, this time at home, as they aim to break their slide in the Asean Basketball League on Sunday night at the Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex in Laguna.

The match is set at 8 p.m.

Alab has lost four of its last five games, including a 100-87 loss to the Long Lions on Friday night at the Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

Sunday’s match will be the second of three straight games against the league-leader.

Hong Kong has won nine straight and hold a 14-2 win-loss slate.

The Long Lions shot the lights out on Friday, connecting on 17 triples to tie the league record they set just last month against the Kaohsiung Truth.

Despite their struggles, Alab Pilipinas remained in third place with a 9-8 win-loss slate, but its lead against Saigon is getting slimmer. The Heat, however, slipped to 6-10 after their loss to the Westports Malaysia Dragons on Saturday.

Bobby Ray Parks Jr., Lawrence Domingo, and imports Sampson Carter and James Hughes hope to get back against the explosive Hong Kong line-up led by Josh Boone, Marcus Elliott, Tyler Lamb, and Lee Ki, who connected on seven threes against Alab.
