TANDUAY Alab Pilipinas looks to break its winless run before the year ends as it takes on the Formosa Dreamers on Saturday in the Asean Basketball League at the Changhua Stadium.
Alab shoots for its first victory after a 0-3 start against the Dreamers at 3 p.m.
The Philippine squad’s third game of the season ended in disappointment after Alab lost an 11-point lead to lose to Hong Kong Eastern, 99-96, on Wednesday.
Following its defeat in Hong Kong, Alab Pilipinas immediately flew to Taiwan to begin early preparations for the game against the Dreamers.
Despite the loss, Alab looked in promising form with Ivan Johnson playing his first breakout game of the season as the finished with 30 points.
But Alab takes on a Formosa Dreamers squad that picked up its first win at the expense of the Saigon Heat, 80-75.
